The menu is simple but tasty at this brightly decorated downtown fixture, where plastic tables and chairs are scattered around an outdoor grill. For those who want a more formal setting, the same menu is served indoors with colorful linens and Mexican music to match. The mixed grill of sausage, steak, and pork chops is a standout, as are the glorious barbecued ribs and the tequila shrimp. A local favorite since 1988 is the arrachera (flank steak) served with a basket of warm tortillas. A selection of tasty pastas and salads is also available. A cold beer makes a perfect accompaniment, and the banana flambé is the ideal way to complete a meal.
