The perfect spot for an early-morning or late-night cappuccino (it opens at 6:30 AM and closes at 10 PM), this place also has terrific desserts and baked goods. The New York Cheesecake and Triple Fudge Turtle Brownies are especially decadent. There's also a great selection of exotic teas, and there's locally made jewelry for sale. If you want the café's famous banana bread, get there early—it usually sells out by 10 AM.

This is a cool place but they often open late so its unreliable for coffee in the early morning. Its always been that way as long as I've been visiting Isla. The coffee is good but expensive by Isla standards. They also have newspapers, mostly in Spanish but the newspaper guy often comes by and you can buy your own Miami Herald for about a dollar.
