El Tacolote Review

A great place to stop for lunch, this popular taquería (taco stand) sells delicious fajitas, grilled kebabs, burritos, and all kinds of tacos. The salsa, which comes with every meal, is fresh and muy picante (very hot). Ask for the two-person parrillada, a hearty sampler of barbecued meat, served with all the beer you can guzzle in one hour. Portions are large and far from "light," so come with an appetite, especially if you order the stuffed chiles smothered with cheese, salsa, and beans. A mariachi band plays nightly at 8.

    Great spot for luch or dinner.
    On Coba Av. just around the corner from the Chedauri grocery store.
    Only drawback would be that it sits right along one of the busiest streets in Centro. But we did not find that to bother us.
