Locanda Paolo Review

Flowers and artwork lend warmth to this sophisticated restaurant, and the staff is attentive without being fussy. The Italian cuisine includes linguine with lobster and angel hair pasta with seafood. The chicken, stuffed with Serrano ham, spinach, and mushrooms, is also delicious. Despite the formal setting, the staff is laid-back and seems to know everyone who walks in the door, most of whom are locals who have been dining at the restaurant for over 20 years. On any given night, many of Chef Paolo Ceravolo's dishes are specials that do not appear on the menu; most are colorful and innovative, such as hot, coiled bread rolls interlaced with piquant mushrooms and eggplant. The international wines are a major draw for locals, as are the specialty lasagnas, which are revised every four months.
