In fact, if you spend some time chatting with the restaurant's knowledgeable owner, Sergio Gómez, there's a good chance he'll take out his pictures and tell you stories about how stars like Bing Crosby, John Wayne, and Susan Sarandon have eaten at his restaurant, and toured the town. He can also tell you how to get to nearby waterfalls. Ask about the six simple double rooms in the back, around a pretty garden, that rent for $45 a night.
