This may well be Acapulco's most beautiful restaurant. You sit gazing down on Doric pillars, statuary, an enormous illuminated obelisk, a small pool, and the bay beyond; it's like eating in a partially restored Greek ruin. Choose from two fixed menus or order à la carte; all dishes are artful. Lobster and prime rib are specialties.

We went to Coyuca 22 a family of 4 the same week FEB 18th and it was the best dining experience we had over had. The Prime rib & Duck dish my wife & I had was Outstanding & when your kids don't complain about anything that says it all. This is not only the best we have experienced in ACAPULCO over the years but a must hit Restaurant especially couples as the View is as nice as any overlooking old Acapulco..And for the record much better then Madeiras which we liked as well...You cannot find better more attentive service anyway !!!

It is easy to believe this was once a great restaurant. But it is not any more.
We had dinner here two nights ago and out of eight people only 1 had an acceptable meal. I don't even know where to begin to describe how bad the food, the portions, and the service were. The owner stopped by our table at the end of our meal and asked if we enjoyed our meals. When we told her no, in fact they were terrible she walked away without saying another word. That was the last we saw of anyone until we finally hailed a waiter half an hour later to ask for the check. The final insult came when we found out the owner had called the police on our driver because he stepped away from his vehicle to talk with her bartender.
Go to the bar to enjoy the spectacular view (but make sure they pour what you order). However, do your friends and yourself a favor and eat somewhere else.
