Most businesses open weekdays from 9 to 5 or 6 pm, and until noon on Saturdays. The traditional midday closing is falling by the wayside in Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula but still holds sway in smaller communities. Banks open weekdays from 9 to 4 or 5 pm, and until noon on Saturday. Museums frequently close one day a week, often Monday.
