Casa de Fortín

The 1850 home that once belonged to Yuscarán's wealthy, prominent Fortín family has been converted into a small city museum with exhibits of what the area was like in the 19th century. To be honest, the house itself is far more interesting than the rudimentary displays on mining and agriculture. Hours can be irregular.

Museo Municipal

Danlí's only true sight, other than its cigar factories, is a small museum documenting the town's history. Tobacco, mining, corn, and cotton have been the four industries that have propelled Danlí's economy, and their history and their tools are well preserved here. The building itself was the one-time city hall and dates from 1857. It's worth a quick look. Hours can be irregular.
