Cocolobo Review

This new hotel on the point in West End has large, airy rooms, with a view of the passing dive boats out front and a small infinity pool in which to relax. Sand beaches are not directly accessible, but intrepid snorkelers will put on a pair of sturdy shoes and pick their way across the rocky coral seashore to one of the ocean entry points. You can see the coral reef just a few feet from shore, and there are buoys that mark some of Roatán's most popular dive sites a bit farther out. Dive packages are available at the hotel, and air-conditioning costs $10 more.
