A lovely rustic resort just outside of Trujillo, Tranquility Bay is on the beach. Rooms are large and comfortable, and the surrounding garden and beach areas are beautiful. Meals are available in the dining room upon request for $10. The hotel offers snorkeling tours, horseback riding, and hiking treks in nearby villages. Credit cards are accepted only through PayPal in advance.
