This diamond-in-the-rough hotel is a welcome retreat from the frantic pace of the streets outside. A tile fountain reminiscent of Andalusia is the centerpiece of the courtyard. The rooms are slightly musty but are nevertheless comfortable and quiet. Ask for one with a view of 6 Avenida—it's a great way to view the action without having to fight the crowds. Pros: comfortable, good value, yesteryear ambience. Cons: some street noise, rooms could use paint job.
