There are plenty of charming hotels in colonial mansions, but you won't pay through the nose at this one. The rooms are clean and comfortable, although a bit dark—door panels serve as their only windows—and the staff is friendly and eager. The small café serves breakfast and snacks. Lots of good bagels are on the menu. If you're hankering for more substantial fare, head to the nearby pizzeria run by the same family. You get a 10% discount on the hotel rate if you pay in cash.
