1. Chao's Paradise
If you're out this way, Chao's makes for a pleasant open-air space for a beer and some seafood and fries. After dark, get here and back by taxi.

2. Coco's Bar
Lively reggae, soca, and samba blast weekend evenings from the turquoise Coco's Bar. The assemblage of dogs dozing on its veranda during the day illustrates the rhythm of local life.

3. Reggae Bar
As befits the name of the place, reggae music is on tap here a few evenings of the week. You're bound to hear "No Woman, No Cry" and all the other anthems. After dark, take a taxi to and from here.

4. Ricky's Bar
Quieter than Coco's across the street (although if Coco's is hosting live music, you'll hear it from here, too), Ricky's is a good place to kick back with a beer and watch the passing parade on the main street. (The food here is nothing special, though.) It's "Ricky's" or "Rikki's," depending on which sign you look at.
