Health and Safety

You are more likely to suffer from dehydration than any other health issue. Carry plenty of water wherever you go, wear a hat and use sturdy hiking boots and long pants when hiking trails where biting insects may strike or the occasional snake might be sleeping in the sun. Do not leave any valuables in your car or your room—always put them in the safe place provided by hotels and lodges.
