Fodor's Review

More than 25 versions of pizza, plus homemade pastas with your choice of 17 sauces, from Arrabiata to Verdure, are the mainstays of this new, casual Italian eatery with rustic wooden furniture, conveniently just off the highway in Uvita, in a quiet garden overlooking a swimming pool. Chef Marcelo Sauda prides himself on using only authentic Italian ingredients. Don't miss his specialty Rossellinos, round pasta pillows filled with ricotta cheese and ham and sitting on a

salsa of fresh tomatoes, with a gorgonzola cheese sauce on top. Marcelo also has daily specials, depending on what's freshest, for example, corvina (sea bass) with tagliatelle on the side. The home-baked rolls here are addictive—crusty on the outside; soft and salty on the inside. You can choose from eight Italian wines by the bottle or drink the Chilean house wine by the glass. Free Wi-Fi.
