Picture a dream location: a high headland jutting out into the sea with vistas up and down the coast. Throw in a breeze-swept terrace, polished service, and some fine seaside cuisine. This restaurant has had its ups and downs, often relying on its unmatched location, but the current menu of pastas, salads, and seafood, if a little pricey, has something for everyone. Perfectly cooked local fish is topped with some interesting sauces, including a standout roasted red pepper sauce with almonds. Less expensive is the grilled fish sandwich. Desserts here are rich—mud pie and a delectable chocolate cake—and substantial enough to share. If you're just passing through Dominical, this is a good place for a cold beer or a naturale, a tall glass of freshly whipped fruit juice. Sunsets here are spectacular. There is some controversy about this restaurant's eco-sensitive location, so call ahead to make sure it's still up and running.
