The German pizza baker can make only six individual pizzas at a time in his wood-fired clay oven, but it's worth the wait for thin-crust pies heaped with toppings. For something a little different, try the roast pork in beer sauce. While you wait for your meal, you can enjoy the birds flitting in the garden by day, or in the evening have a drink in the bar, which is popular with locals.
