Fodor's Review

Especially popular with backpackers heading up to Chirripó, this upgraded hotel is within walking distance of the main bus station. Pleasant bungalows are arranged in an attractively landscaped row leading to a swimming pool and a terrace restaurant with a barbecue. There are also rooms with porches in a two-story building overlooking the pool. Some rooms have queen-size beds and air-conditioning; others have double or single beds and ceiling fans. It's in an industrial

area, but this property is a mini-oasis of relative calm and there are green mountain views from the pool. Have breakfast at the small terrace restaurant or cross the highway and forage among the inexpensive eateries.
