Fodor's Review

Two Italian sisters run the best bargain hotel in Puerto Jiménez. Spotlessly clean rooms have homey, old-fashioned touches like lace shower curtains and wooden benches and chairs on a shady, plant-filled terrace. All rooms have private bathrooms and hot water, and half are air-conditioned. They look out onto an enchanting garden where breakfast (not included in rate) is served. If you're traveling solo or need a break from your traveling companion, two single rooms with

fans cost about $25.
