Hacienda Barú Review
Hacienda Barú nature reserve is a leader in both ecotourism and conservation, with spectacular bird-watching and excellent naturalist guides, along with a turtle-protection project and nature-education program in the local school. You can stay at the cabins and poolside rooms or on platform tents on the beach; or just come for the day to walk the forest and mangrove trails, zip through the canopy on cables, climb a tree, or stake out birds on an observation platform.
