Playa Ventanas Review
Playa Ventanas, just 1½ km (1 mi) south of Ballena Marine Park, is a beautiful beach that's popular for sea-kayaking, with some interesting tidal caves. The mountains that rise up behind these beaches hold rain forests, waterfalls, and wildlife. Sometimes there is guarded, private parking here for 350 colones (about 75¢) an hour, but whether or not there is a guard, do not leave anything of value in your car.
