Piedras Blancas National Park

Piedras Blancas National Park Review

Piedras Blancas National Park has some great birding. The park is verdant forest, home to many species of endemic plants and animals. It's also an important wildlife corridor because it connects to Corcovado National Park. Follow the main road northwest through the old American Zone, past the airstrip and a housing project: the place where a dirt road heads into the rain forest is ground zero for bird-watchers. There are no marked trails; the best birding is along the road.
