Fodor's Review

The best deal in town, this arcaded, two-story hotel with decorative balustrades overlooking potted palms is tucked in a cul-de-sac behind the main street. Rooms are compact but tidy, modestly furnished, with internet and TV. The best and quietest rooms—No. 24 to 26 and 30 to 32—overlook a garden and wooded ravine alive with birds. The restaurant, illuminated by a skylight, serves home-style Italian and Tico food at reasonable prices, as well as breakfast.
