Fodor's Review

Ojochal's gourmet scene has been enhanced by this intimate restaurant with a Mediterranean menu, as well as an unbeatable view overlooking the sky, the sea, and a picturesque barrier island on the horizon. Sunsets here are spectacular, sometimes accompanied by pairs of scarlet macaws winging past at eye level. The menu includes hummus with pita bread, delicately fried calamari, and goat-cheese ravioli. The seafood soup is chock full of shrimp and shellfish, and the pan-seared fish of the day can't be beat. For dessert, the standout item is the passion-fruit pie, creamy and not too tart, balanced by a buttery cookie crust. The innovative pricing here is affordable: a main course is $15, two courses are $20, and three are $25 (plus tax and service). Thursday nights feature designer pizzas and salad. At lunchtime, you can sit on the terrace of the infinity pool. Service is a little uneven, but who cares when you have that view?
