Fodor's Review

This tranquil, sophisticated retreat sits in a forest brimming with birds and wildlife, 122 meters (400 feet) above a mostly deserted beach studded with tide pools. Luxurious two-person cabinas have screened windows, king-size beds, contemporary bathrooms with spacious showers behind curving walls, and private decks with forest and ocean views. A deluxe cabin, on the path to the beach, has stunning ocean views and lots of privacy. There's also a large family cabin and a very secluded, deluxe two-story cabin that's perfect for honeymoons. Four spacious rooms and two suites in a two-story building have verandas overlooking a swimming pool edged with teak lounge chairs. International meals with a tropical touch are served on a spacious terrace restaurant. Waterfall rappelling and biologist-guided nature walks are the highlights, apart from soaking in the serenity. New trails lead through the forest to two suspension bridges spanning ravines for canopy-level views of birds and wildlife. There's also a new three-platform zip line, so guests can get a dose of high-adrenaline adventure without leaving the property. The friendly and professional young owners are on-site and ensure service is smooth and guests' every request is met.
