Fodor's Review:

Québécois owner Bertrand Fleury's sign triumphantly announces cuisine of the world at the entrance to his restaurant on Cahuita's main street. (He counts French, Italian, Brazilian, and Canadian heritage in his family tree.) Thai shrimp salad and Tex-Mex fajitas are two of the typically eclectic dishes. The menu is small, but what's done is done impeccably well. A delectable specialty is langosta cha cha chá, lobster in a white-wine garlic sauce with fresh basil. Paintings by local and Cuban artists hang on the walls of the candlelit semi-outdoor dining area, separated from the street by miniature palm trees. The place is (deservedly) popular and has a scant 32 places. Make it a stop; it's one of the country's top restaurants.

I had pasta with fish and it was incredible! The service is quick, friendly. The outdoor seating is so comfortable! I hold Chachacha's in a very special place in my heart. It was a great companion to our hike the next morning through Cahuita Nacional Parque.

One downfall, the chef is always speeding around his kitchen. No time to chit chat so much. This shoud not be a surprise though, perfection has its cost. Everything is done right there after you order, no frozen precooked laboratory cuisine. A rare pleasure now-a-day. On my two weeks vacations last year, I dinned at the Cha cha cha on twelves occasions... the other two days fasting.
