The location—on a dead-end road at the southern end of the beach—may confound you on your first visit, but there's nothing confusing about the sophisticated Italian food. Along with the usual dishes, the menu has some interesting twists: pork instead of veal in the saltimbocca, fettucine with consommé and chicken livers, and lots of gorgonzola. Appetizers are big enough to share. The terrace dining room glows with gold light and warm earth tones. The wine list concentrates on Italian wines at modest prices.
