A couple of trendy steps above the average soda in food and atmosphere (and a bit higher in price), this open-air café has tasty casados (plates with rice, beans, fried plantains, and fish, chicken, or meat) and sandwiches, and we love their rich fruit batidos (milk shakes).

My husband and I went in to have a few drinks to cool off and received the worst service. We had to get up and look for the waitress after our first drink inorder to ask for another & her response was that she could attend to us better if we sat at a table in front opposed to where we had choosen to sit. When we did move we noticed why she wanted us to move ... because she was chit chatting with the other waitresses behind the counter. I got so upset we didnt stay for food. We should have known something wasn't right since we were the only customers for the entire 45 mins we were there.
