Hotel Vela Bar Restaurant

Fodor's Review:

This small open-air, roadside restaurant retains an intimate atmosphere behind a jungle of tropical foliage. Beneath a conical thatched roof it serves a variety of dishes in generous proportions, including shrimp with ginger and pork chops in pineapple sauce. There are vegetarian options as well. Service can be slow when the place fills up.
