Danaus Ecocenter

Fodor's Review:

The Danaus Ecocenter (Ecocentro Danaus), a small ecotourism project outside of town, exhibits 300 species of tropical plants, abundant animal life—including sloths and caimans—and butterfly and orchid gardens. It's also a great place to see Costa Rica's famed red poison dart frogs up close.
