Fodor's Review:
This pretty café serves more than 30 different kinds of local coffees, including high-altitude arabica Tarrazú, the "celestial drink" for which this area is famous. The café also has homemade sweet and savory pastries. It's open weekdays 9-6:30, Saturday 2-5:30, and Sunday noon-5:30. There's also a conveniently located outpost on the highway at Empalme called La Ruta del Café.
