Pozo Azul

Fodor's Review:

A considerably smaller waterfall than Cataratas de Nauyaca, Pozo Azul is in the jungle about 5 km (3 mi) south of town. Off the main highway, head up the road toward Bella Vista lodge and take the first road to the right, past the new school and through a stream; follow the road straight uphill for about 300 meters to where the road widens. You can park here and climb down the steep trail to the river on the right, where there is a lovely swimming hole and waterfall, often populated by local kids when school is out. Be sure not to leave anything of value in your parked car.
