Fodor's Review:
The world-famous Playa Pavones surfing break is just a 10-minute walk from this surfer-owned hotel. It's a cut above the usual surfer place, and a bargain, with three meals included in the rate. Screened porches overlook a lush garden, and nature trails wind through 14 acres. The house has two bedrooms that sleep up to six and a screened balcony but no kitchen. The common area has a Ping-Pong table, and there are volleyball and basketball courts. Everything is within walking distance, including a swimmable beach, so you don't need a car.
