Two tall Swiss chalets built into the hillside command extensive views of the Golfo de Nicoya and the hilly peninsula and house elegant, airy, and attractively rustic rooms—all with balconies. Decor is clean and tailored with polished wood, white duvets, and minibars. Rooms in the main building, where you'll find the lobby and restaurant, are on the small side but have the best views; those in the newer building are larger and boast outdoor showers or Jacuzzi tubs. In
the restaurant you can count on adventurous and delicious platos del día (daily specials) of Costa Rican and international fare.

What a bargain.., beautiful location, pleasant and quiet hiking trails - we liked the shorter one. Plus the room in the main lodge was so worth the money! Our view was excellent and the room was clean and nice (if not a bit spartan). Just a great place.
