Hotel Belmar Review

Two tall Swiss chalets built into the hillside command extensive views of the Golfo de Nicoya and the hilly peninsula and house elegant, airy, and attractively rustic rooms—all with balconies. Decor is clean and tailored with polished wood, white duvets, and minibars. Rooms in the main building, where you'll find the lobby and restaurant, are on the small side but have the best views; those in the newer building are larger and boast outdoor showers or Jacuzzi tubs. In the restaurant you can count on adventurous and delicious platos del día (daily specials) of Costa Rican and international fare.
