It doesn't quite approximate an English country inn, although this place on the south end of town is still charming. Each brightly furnished room has two queen-size beds, a TV, minibar, and a private patio. The lush grounds have great views of the Arenal Volcano. A big breakfast is served in the restaurant, an open-air converted cattle corral. You can take lunch and dinner there as well. For a peaceful night, request a room away from the main road.
