Here's one of the area's most stylish restaurants, but this is still Monteverde, so you can leave your fancy clothes at home. Waiters in crisp black aprons scurry attentively around the three dining rooms with ample window space. We like Sofía for its variety of about a dozen main courses: a mix of chicken, beef, pork, seafood, and vegetarian entrées. Try the chimichanga with corvina and shrimp and a side of coconut rice. There's an extensive wine and cocktail selection, too.
