Heliconia Island Review
Heliconias abound at the aptly named Heliconia Island in the Sarapiquí River. Some 70 species of the flowering plant, a relative of the banana, are among the collections that populate 5 acres of botanical gardens here. Expect to see ample bird and butterfly life, too.
