You can mix and match small plates from the à la carte menu to make a filling meal out of two or three diverse minidishes such as sea bass with passion-fruit cream or coconut shrimp in mango-ginger sauce. Excellent dessert choices include a chocolate mousse or vanilla ice cream with pineapple-ginger-rum syrup, and they have a terrific selection of tropical-style cocktails and European and South American wines. A scant nine tables dot the place. Arrive before 7 if you want a guaranteed table, although the wait is never too long.
