Hotel Arco Iris Review

Beautiful bungalows dot the grounds of this chic compound, half a block off one of Tamarindo's main drags. Each bungalow has a high, sloping cane ceiling; handsome contemporary furniture; sleek, modern marble bathroom with huge showers and trendy vessel sinks; and a porch with a hammock, table, and chairs overlooking the nearby bungalows. Some rooms have flat-screen TVs, and all have hair dryers and mini-fridges. Four rooms in a two-story house that used to be the owner's home are ultraspacious, with two queen beds and lots of storage space. There's a small pool, and pleasant shaded sitting areas in the garden and by the pool. The hotel is also home to the best dinner restaurant in town, and there's a massage therapist on call. Amiable owner Richard Resnick is usually around to fill you in on the local scene.
