Playa Copal Review

Playa Copal is a narrow, dark-beige beach that wouldn't be worth visiting except for the fact that it is one of the main venues for kitesurfing. There are villas and rooms for rent, and the upscale Ecoplaya Hotel is just a mile away. A couple of kilometers to the east, Playa Papaturro also has kitesurfing and simple accommodations. Amenities: food and drink. Best for: solitude.

    Playa Copal Review

    I went to the KiteHouse in Playa Copal in December 2010 kiteboardingcostarica.com I had the best time! I went solo and made many new friends. Great house right on the beach with restaurant just up the hill. Kent and Damien were awesome instructors. Great feel to the place! almost like a Hostel, but much better accomidations. There are 2 other schools on the bay, I would consider the kitehouse the best with Bob from Cometa Copal a great option as well. The other school seems a bit too far away and overbooked in my observation. I will be back in 2011 and beyond! Every day is a good day there!
