It's hot and it's tropical, and, as the name warns (picante means "spicy"), some of the dishes here make your taste buds tingle. The menu spices up (literally) local fish and tropical fruits in dishes like grilled mahimahi with an orange chipotle. If you can't face a whole red snapper, try the excellent fish tacos made with fresh snapper. There's also a milder kids' menu. The large terrace restaurant, painted a nautical blue and white, is poolside and faces a gorgeous beach, but it is backed by the cookie-cutter condominium development at Bahía Pez Vela. The long road here is worth it for the delicious coconut cream pie and cheesecake.
