Restaurante Papagayo Seafood
Restaurante Papagayo Seafood Review
The food here is straightforward, reliably fresh, and flavorful. Start with fish ceviche, or seafood soup generously packed with shrimp, squid, fish, and crab. Then sink your teeth into the catch of the day (including lobster, most notably), prepared any one of a dozen ways, or Papagayo seafood au gratin, a mix of sautéed seafood in a tarragon cream sauce. Seating is upstairs on a breezy terrace with views of the Main Street action. The restaurant also sells fresh fish to take home. And for those who like their fish raw, the Papagayo Sushi Boat downstairs wraps up sushi rolls and serves sashimi from a real boat.
