Fodor's Review

Beautiful bungalows dot the grounds of this chic compound, half a block off one of Tamarindo's main drags. The five bungalows have high, sloping cane ceilings, handsome contemporary furniture, and sleek marble bathrooms with huge showers and trendy vessel sinks. Stone pathways lead to each unit, fronted by a private porch, hammock, table, and chairs. There are also eight ultraspacious, deluxe rooms with two queen beds and lots of storage space. All accommodations include

flat-screen TVs, hair dryers, coffee makers, and mini-fridges. There's a small pool (slated to be enlarged), and pleasant shaded sitting areas in the garden and by the pool. The hotel is also home to the best dinner restaurant in town, and there's a massage therapist on call. Amiable owner Richard Resnick is usually around to fill you in on the local scene.
