This San Antonio hills favorite combines smoky thin-crust pizza with the essence of the Central Valley—simple and sincere. Pull up a chair to one of the gingham-covered tables on the semienclosed patio, and you have the perfect view of a Costa Rican microcosm. The valley drops down just behind the soccer field and the green-trimmed church across the street, revealing the shimmering panorama of Escazú, Alajuela, and Heredia. The pizza is the main draw, but pastas, meat dishes, and Costa Rican standbys are well represented.
