Fodor's Review

The classiest hotel in downtown Heredia, this four-story narrow building first attracted business travelers and visiting professors at the nearby National University, although guests now are just as likely to be vacationers. Tile floors and white walls aren't exactly inspired, but the high, pressed-tin ceilings add a sense of space and some character. Bathrooms are bright and large, with hair dryers, and each room has a microwave oven and a mini-refrigerator. The hotel has an elevator and there's a handicapped-accessible room. A bar on the top floor has panoramic views to go along with drinks and bocas, from 4 pm to midnight Monday to Saturday.

Hotel Valladolid Review

This hotel was a terrible experience. The room we had was backed up to what sounded like a mechanics shop. From three in the afternoon until nine we listened to what sounded like an air ratchet wrench. When my partner went down to ask/complain about it the "100% English" speaking staff lost all ability to speak/understand English. They understood/spoke English when I had a random point of interest question a half hour later. To top it off their hot

water started going cold within three minutes of use.
