Central Pacific
The Central Pacific is one of the few places in the country where you can see such rare animals as the Central American squirrel monkey and the scarlet macaw. The Curú National Wildlife Reserve, Manuel Antonio National Park, and Cabo Blanco Absolute Nature Reserve are excellent places to see wildlife, snorkel, hike, and surf.
