Fodor's Review

Near the tranquil northern end of the beach, about a 15-minute walk from Jacó's flock of tourists, El Jardín is just half a block from the sand and surf. Simple rooms with wooden ceilings, small baths, and tiny TVs surround a large pool and concrete picnic tables shaded by coconut palms. An open-air restaurant in front, open in high season only, specializes in French dishes. Rooms with air-conditioning cost a bit more. Guests rave about the young owners' hospitality.
