Hotel Amor de Mar Review
About ½ km (¼ mi) south of town, this ruggedly handsome hotel sits across from the entrance to Montezuma's famous waterfall. A grassy lawn stretches to the rocky seashore, where you can cool off in a natural tidal pool at low tide or lounge about in one of the palm-shaded hammocks. The place has a peaceful and intimate atmosphere in which to savor the homemade breakfasts served each morning. Wood-panel rooms are rustic but comfortable; second-floor rooms have more windows. Two rooms share a bathroom and are considerably cheaper. The two-story oceanfront houses next door have four bedrooms, making them great for larger groups.
