Fodor's Review

Expect swan towels and plastic flowers at this comfortable but slightly dated hotel, best known for its proximity to good surf and fresh fish. A dramatic spiral staircase leads to second-floor rooms, each with an ocean view and either a large balcony or a terrace. Those on the first floor have direct beach access but lack privacy since they are closest to the restaurant. The surf breaks right in front, just beyond the skinny coconut palms. Rooms are standard size, with

one king or two queen beds, and a small bathroom. The bright, airy restaurant also overlooks the beach; the menu is limited but the food gets raves. There's a small pool in back and board rental for $20 per day.
