Book NowArenas del Mar Beach and Nature Resort Review
What you don't see is what you get at this new eco-luxury hotel: no cars, no crowds, no clutter, but what you do get are the hotel's seven sage-and-beige modern buildings camouflaged on reforested hillsides sloping down to two pristine, almost deserted beaches (although you can hardly see them). Rooms here are chic and elegant but still "green," decorated with gorgeous natural fabrics, king-size beds, and flamboyant local art. Bathrooms are spacious, with round, glass-brick shower stalls. Huge private terraces, some with ocean view and mosaic-tiled hot tubs, have comfortable outdoor sitting areas. Two pools, two beaches to choose from, and a spa all spell luxury. Even the eco-element here is an added luxury, with 12 acres of beach and forest alive with birds, butterflies, and wildlife. The main restaurant is practically in the trees, and the menu is innovative and ambitious. There's also a more casual daytime restaurant at the lower pool nearest the beach. All rooms here are non-smoking.

This place was a great find. I went with my husband and our kids and was shocked to find such amazing views, excellent food and a really warm, inviting staff. This hotel is also the only hotel in Manuel Antonio with direct access to a private secluded beach.
